Chinese Drama Half Review : Derailment

I’m back again after a really long break. Hehehe. And to proof that my English writing skill is improved (really?) I’m going to write today’s post in English. But, disclaimer, I’m sorry if you may find the wrong grammar or typos, because I’m still trying to improve myself hehehe. ^^V

Soooo, today I’m going to post about a half review. A half way to finish it. What’s the drama about?

This Chinese drama titled Derailment and it has Lin Yi and Liu Hao Cun as the lead characters. Lin Yi played as Qi Lian, and Liu Hao Cun as Jiang Xiao Yuan. The drama is plotting about Xiao Yuan who thinks she entered a parallel universe when she was on the way to see her Assistant Xu Jing Yang (played by actor Li Tian Nuo) and she got a car accident, meanwhile she finally discovered the truth that she lost her memory. Then she met Qi Lian from 2018. And on the other side, Qi Lian is trying to find his friend and his first love who suddenly disappeared. And he bumped on Xiao Yuan at the hospital while she take care of Zhang Xiu Qin (played by Che Yong Li), the lady who found her lying on the side of the road out of nowhere.

This drama got me so emotional in one point, because of how cruel Qi Lian to Xiao Yuan when he found out that Xiao Yuan is a time traveller just because he sees her as his first love figure who has the same looks and even same identity. Qi Lian who always acted nice to her, always protected her, helped her without making it obvious (yeah he tried tho), but changed to be a very cruel and demanding person to Xiao Yuan. That’s somehow makes him be a mentally bully to Xiao Yuan. While Xiao Yuan already find him as a person who she wish she can trust and lean on. That’s actually really make me feel sad.

Whyyyyy? I kinda think that if I found someone who is one of the nicest person to me, the only person who I can trust in such situation and then he changed to be someone who is being harsh to me the most, that will make me losing my trust to this world. I can’t trust anyone else. And that’s really broke my heart. Don’t know who to talk with, don’t know where to find help, don’t know what to do. Want to die, but I can’t. it’s going to be torturing me so damn much.

But, as you watch more episodes of the drama, the lead roles figured out that they are actually become a subject of an illegal research, and their investigation about that illegal research become more complicated. Apparently, more people be involved in that research. Such as Jiang Bo, the make up artist, Qi Lian himself, Jiang Bo’s mom, and many others. And, of course, the climax of this drama is getting on my nerve. In a good way of course, lol. I mean, I really enjoyed it!!!!! ><

You guys have to watch this drama. I really recommend it. It’s cliché, of course, a romance story about someone from different caste (financially), but they have mutual feelings and they need and care to each other. There is no conflict caused of the third wheel person, the chemistry is good, the visual of the actors and actresses is unquestionable, but don’t expecting too much romance, lol.

So yeah, I’ve watched it until 26^th episode tonight, and I will watch it until the last episode tonight. What drama should I watch after this? Amidst a snowstorm of love? Gen Z? Exclusive fairytale? I will think about it later I guess xD
